There is a real understanding of what a political relationship means in an instance such as this one and we have seen the sudden change of views in recent months.
There is usually the message that former president Jacob Zuma and EFF leader Julius Malema do not get along because of what had happened in the past.
However, there is so much that has changed and we have witnessed how the unity of these two leaders has caused confusion.
There are still people who did not expect that days such as these would not come, it makes perfect sense for Zuma and Malema to send a message of unity, especially now.
A day ago, Duduzile Zuma made a return to Twitter, if you follow her on the platform, then you would know that she has been active for almost a month. She suddenly stopped tweeting and her first tweet since she got back is about two of the most influential men in South Africa.
You probably saw this already and it was not really a surprise that the two leaders met again, this could signify something.
One could say that everything is playing out as it should, you would probably argue that the timing makes perfect sense and it has been demonstrated that the EFF is moving in the right direction.
Challenges are part of the process and everything that has been happening in the past week sets the organisation apart and it is good that there is still the opportunity for people to inform themselves.
Now, it is not clear what the meeting between Zuma and Malema was about and maybe Duduzile will explain this in detail, so that certain publications do not push an agenda by spreading misinformation.
The people have reacted to the video that was released by Duduzile and it was interesting because this is a clear indication that the former president has no issues with the EFF leader.
In the video, they are seen dancing and having a good time, this is obviously something that people never expected would happen.
However, as it has been said before, there are no permanent enemies in politics and these are leaders who seem more concerned about the people.
They are better together and even those who are against them understand this very well, this is the unity that we expected to see.
