The most senior politician to attend the funeral of Mzee David Waweru Ng’ethe, the father of Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie, was President William Ruto. Additionally present were the CS, governors, deputies, and other politicians.
A chance to speak was also offered to Cate Waruguru, the principal administrative secretary in charge of foreign affairs, who urged President William Ruto to serve the people of Kenya without fear.
Waruguru asserted that President Ruto and Raila are now cooperating and pushing the junior politicians to pick up the slack while referencing the Nyayo Stadium event where they both attended the Mashemeji derby.
We used to refer to you as the fifth president but now it’s a dream come true. Now work for the people of Kenya. And by the way, if Raila Odinga and Ruto have agreed to work together.
