Transparency International Comments on President Ruto’s Fight Against Corruption

It is believed that Kenya has high number of corruption cases due to poor strategies on the fight against craft. After the latest corruption scandal at KEMSA, president William Ruto went ahead and fired top government officials in the organization, Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Wafula has send a stunning warning to her officers over corruption deals in the ministry

According to Sheila Masinde, Transparency International Kenya executive director, expounded that the president was “yet to demonstrate genuine, bold and potent political will to fight corruption”. This statement comes a time when the prices of basic commodities are retailing at high prices across all regions of the country.
