The long awaited Jubilee party National Delegates Conference is finally taking shape as preparations ahead of the event reach the final end. Former President Uhuru Kenyatta is the chief guest in the event as he seeks to end the ongoing troubles in the party.
Nairobi county police boss Adamson Bungei has now issued a statement regarding the event. In his statement, Bungei has informed that the government is ready to provide security during the event amid fears that the Kanini Kega-led faction might lock horns with Uhuru’s side.
“We are aware of the event and will do the necessary. We will provide the needed security to the event,” Bungei said.

Sources within the police service has also informed that a total of 50 police officers have been sent to the event, tasked to maintain law and order in case of anything fishy.
The meeting by the former Head of State, Uhuru Kenyatta comes just days after Kega’s faction expelled vice chairperson David Murathe and Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni.
