According to the reports by the Thursday Standard, it is emerging that the head of state without feeling intimidated stamped his Authority warning that dire consequences awaits those who will be found culpable of embezzling public funds.An Insider who attended the yesterday evening Cabinet Meeting at statehouse has also revealed that there was a pin-drop silence as the head of state fired warning shots to the CSs and Government officials thinking that he can’t or rather doesn’t have the ability to fight corruption and other economic related crimes in his Kenya Kwanza Government.
“There was pin-drop silence in the Cabinet as the president articulated his point on corruption. The Cabinet was tense and everyone quiet, one of those moments and the air you do not admire in a meeting,” said a CS who sought anonymity
