President William Ruto Reveals Where He Met Raila For The First Time Since Last Year

President William Ruto has cleared air, declining rumours that he met opposition chief Raila Odinga in March before striking a deal that ended a grandstanding.

President William Ruto who was speaking in a round table interview with journalist at State House on Sunday evening laughed off people who have been suggesting that he met Odinga before the opposition alliance called off their protests.

According to the Head of State, he only met Odinga in Nyandarua for the first time in months on Saturday in Nyandarua County.

Ruto and Raila met in Nyandarua County on Saturday where they both graced the final send off of Mukami Kimathi, the widow of Maumau fighter Dedan Kimathi who passed on barely a week ago.

Ruto was responding to rumours that have times without number claimed that they had a meeting with Odinga in March before he decided to extend an olive branch to opposition alliance, requesting them to end call off the bi-weekly protests.
