Jubilations and celebrations today rocks mount Kenya region after president William Ruto nominated former Principal Secretary Kamau Thuge as the central Kenya governor who is expected to take ovee from governor Patrick Njoroge whose terms of office comes to an end next month after serving for eight years in the country now.
This is one of the major appointment that the president has given to the mount Kenya region since after taking over as the head of state and government as this is one of the plum jobs in the government of Kenya as it controls all the currency matters in the country.
The president has been making major appointments in favour of the mount Kenya region after standing with him during and after the August general elections where they voted for the Kenya Kwanza leadership led by president William Ruto and his deputy president Rigathi Gachagua who is also hailing from the region.
