Political Spectacle: Looming Political Gymnastics as Raila's Grand Plans Reportedly Emerge

Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Amolo Odinga is a man and a political player who is not relenting any sooner as far his quest to solidify his traditional support bases is concerned. The former Prime Minister is seemingly having a future political plan and his actions and moves are conspicuosly telling.

In a bid to assert his authority and crack the whip in his Luo Nyanza backyard, Raila and his orange party have resolved to debunk the perceived penetration of Kenya Kwańza government and President William Samoei Ruto into the region.

The moves include countering relief food distribution in the region by government officials led by ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo, Interior PS Raymond Omolo, Trade CAS Evans Kidero, Roads and Transport CAS Nicholas Odero Gumbo and his Mining and Blue Economy counterpart Fred Outa.

Raila and his team are aiming to enlighten the Luo Community that the above move by the government officials is a bait to hoodwink them to support the government of the day while depicting the opposition outfit as anti-development.

Raila and his team has also earmarked key Legislatures who have shifted allegiance to the government with fresh push underway to see them relinquish their respective seat s and seek fresh mandate from the electorates.

The marked politicians include Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda, MPs Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Carolina Omondi (Subaru South), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Phelix Odiwuor (Lang’ata) and Mark Nyamita (Uriri).

Reports have emerge of a crisis meeting by ODM top leadership organs to fast-track the expulsion of the above Legislatures from the orange party.
