ODM Politician and Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has offered to host the Jubilee party’s National Delegates Convention (NDC) if they are unable to secure a venue. His offer comes after Bomas denied former President Uhuru Kenyatta the venue to host Jubilee NDC.
The letter allegedly from Bomas of Kenya, dated May 12, 2023, stated that they could not accommodate the party due to ongoing renovations. Bomas mentioned that their main auditorium, with a capacity of 2,000 people, would be undergoing renovation for eight weeks starting May 16, 2023.
They also stated that their other spaces were fully booked in the coming days. Consequently, the party’s NDC scheduled for May 22, 2023, could not be hosted at Bomas.
In response, MCA Robert Alai has proposed hosting the event in Waruku and emphasized the need for security personnel to protect the party from individuals seeking to exploit the situation. Jubilee party has been plagued by leadership conflicts since earlier this year.
