Netizens on social media and political platforms have been treated to a mother’s day drama after photos of a member of Parliament helping a woman carry load of firewood emerged online.
The photos were captioned and uploaded on Facebook by Keiyo South Member of Parliament, Hon. Gideon Kimaiyo, where they attracted lots of reactions from his followers.

The photos were also uploaded on Facebook by one of the top Rift Valley Facebook blogs called Iten Daily as shown below. “One word for this Member of Parliament, Gideon Kimaiyo, MP Keiyo South,” Item Daily posted on Facebook.
Hon. Kimaiyo is one of the many Members of Parliament elected under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket which falls under the Kenya Kwanza political faction which is headed by president William Samoei Ruto.
