News just in indicates that a county assembly has suspended all its operations over fight with Governor.

According to the details shared by a reliable source of information, Garissa County Assembly has suspended its operations until their financial demands are met by the Governor.
The MCAs are accusing Governor Nadhif Jama of not honouring their financial demands while saying that they will not work under the mercy of the ODM Governor.
There were celebrations in the county assembly when the MCAs voted overwhelming to suspend the operations of the assembly.
After the rulling, the MCAs had a media brief where they said that they had given the Governor, a 14 day ultimatum to adress their concerns.
The MCAs complained that they lacked financial autonomy which is greatly affecting their role of oversight on the executive.
