The Bipartisan committee members tasked with holding talks between the ruling Kenya Kwanza Alliance and the opposition Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party, held their meeting on Tuesday and both sides raised issues they want to be addressed.

According to the statement shared by the bipartisan Committee co-chair Rarieda Constituency member of parliament Hon Otiende Amolo, the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party has raised five issues they want to be addressed while the Kenya Kwanza Alliance Party has raised 6 major issues they want to be addressed.
Azimio has listed the Cost of living as number one issue to be considered during the talks. They have also listed the auditing of the 2022 Presidential elections results which calls for the Opening of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s Servers.
Azimio has been insisting on these as Raila keeps claiming that his votes were stolen a claim Kenya Kwanza Alliance keeps refuting.
The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party also wants the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission be restructured and Boundaries related issues be solved
Further, the Opposition Coalition wants the Interference with political parties to be stopped and outstanding Constitutional matters addressed
On the other hand, the Kenya Kwanza Alliance wants the IEBC selection panel be reconstituted, two Thirds gender rule, Senate oversight funds, Entrenchment of NG-CDF and NGAAF be addressed.
The ruling Coalition also wants the creation of of the office the leader of the opposition, resolving insecurity problems, dealing with Demonstrators and Electoral reforms to ensure the closure of the electoral outcomes for post Election peace and National Stability.
The issues raised by the Kenya Alliance majorly target the Azimio’s mass Action.
