As of now, a lot of Kenyans may be stranded all over the country. This is due to the mass power outage that is being witnessed in most parts of the country. Even though Kenya’s Power has made it clear that the outage is due to a system disturbance, it appears as if some people seem to disagree.
According to information from a reliable source, a top Azimio supporter and blogger has gone ahead to allege that it may be a distraction. According to Karen Wanjiku, the mass power outage is a distraction by the government to stop Kenyans from talking about Peter Tum Kiplagat who was appointed the sports PS.
Mr. Kiplagat was recently transferred from the Ministry of Health after a move by the president to fire PS Jophine Mburu and the entire KEMSA board.
Even though it is not clear whether Wanjiku’s claims are true or false, politicians and their loyal supporters have often been known to take advantage of situations to attack their opponents.
