Bipartisan committee co-chair Otiende Amollo told the media in a joint press conference following today’s meeting at the Bomas of Kenya that the team has reached an agreement on a framework agreement, which would be made public once all of the committee members have signed.

The bipartisan committee’s activity during the debates will be defined by the Framework agreement, according to the Rarieda Member of Parliament.0f1e9fc6721248f7a6ed2de0261ec18b?quality=uhq&resize=720

Framework agreement has been completed, and after it has been signed by the members, it will be made public, according to Otiende Amollo.

The co-chair also disclosed that they had reached an understanding over how long the cross-partisan negotiations should last.

He disclosed that the Azimio branch wanted the negotiations to be concluded in 30 days, while the Kenya Kwanza faction had given a 90-day timeline. He claimed that after considering the issue, the committee decided to wrap up the negotiations in 60 days.6fc26fcabdfc43868255a44b0175955d?quality=uhq&resize=720

Be sure to mention, though, that the more serious matters will be considered and resolved in less than 30 days.
