Amount Of Money That Senators Were Allegedly Paid To Overthrow Ferdinand WaitituÂ
Yesterday the former governor of Kiambu County Ferdinand Waititu was in an interview with Gatonye Wa Mbugua and Muthee Kiengei at Kameme fm in their morning show called Arahuka which airs every day from Monday to Friday starting at 6 am to 10 am.
Waititu was overthrown after he was found guilty of corrupting public funds worth billions of money. Some of this money was discovered while some were not. Waititu was The second governor of Kiambu county he won the 2017 election and defeated Kabogo.
Now Waititu has revealed that some senators who participated in overthrowing him were paid, he revealed that each senator was given one million shillings to stand against him.
Waititu said that he did not steal the money nor do any corruption, he said that all were forced allegations by some senators who were against his governorship and that is why they overthrew him before his term was over.
