1.Alice Wahome.
Alice Wahome is the current Cabinet Secretary for water, Sanitation and irrigation in the republic of Kenya.She previously served as the member of parliament for Kandara constituency.She first clinched the member of parliament seat in the 2013 general elections.In 2017 general elections she retained the seat under Jubilee party ticket and in 2022 she was re-elected under UDA party ticket.
The female cabinet secretary Alice Wahome holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Nairobi.She also has a postgraduate certificate in law from the Kenya school.
2.Kipchumba Murkomen.
Kipchumba Murkomen is a Kenyan lawyer, currently serving as the Cabinet secretary for roads, transport and public works.He previously served as the Elgeyo Marakwet senator from 2013 to 2022.He was first elected to the seat in 2013 under URP party ticket.He was easily re-elected in 2017 on a Jubilee party ticket and in 2022 he retained the seat under UDA party ticket.
Murkomen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Nairobi.He went to United States of America to further his Studies in Law.He later joined the University of Pretoria in Pretoria.
3.Susan Wafula.
Susan Nakhumicha Wafula is an experienced and strategic supply chain specialist. She has more than 15 years of experience working in Agile and Intelligent Supply Chain and Operations in the healthcare business.
In 2022 during the vetting of the cabinet secretary,Susan told the committee under the chairmanship of Speaker Moses Wetang’ula that she had first studied at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) where she trained as a Pharmaceutical Technologist and graduated in 2000.Thereafter, she completed the degree in Turkey before undertaking another degree in Procurement and Supplies from JKUAT.She also disclosed to the panel that the degree in pharmacy she attained online is yet to be recognised in Kenya.
4.Kithure Kindiki.
Kithure Kindiki is among the most popular cabinet secretaries in Kenya.He is currently serving as the cabinet secretary for Interior and Administration of National Government.He previously served as the Tharaks Nithi senator from 2013 to 2022.He also served as the Senate deputy speaker before he was impeached due to his failure of attending a Parliamentary group meeting that was sanctioned by the president Uhuru Kenyatta at statehouse Nairobi.
Kindiki obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Moi University.He also holds a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law and Democracy and a PhD in International Law, both from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
