Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South Africans have identified Sethu Johannes as the wife of feared criminal, Yanga Bara Nyalara, who was shot dead

Khayelitsha’s most feared resident believed to be among 6 killed in shootout with Eastern Cape cops.

One of those killed is from Cape Town –Khayelitsha’s most feared resident, Yanga “Bara” Nyalara, who had numerous charges withdrawn against him in the past after witnesses were either too scared to testify against him or were murdered. READ MORE HERE

Another source, a police officer, confirmed Nyalara’s death.

“Police spotted the vehicles next to Cofimvaba and attempted to stop them. The suspects sped off. A chase ensued, and backup was called to assist in the chase, and while they were between Ndabakazi and Butterworth (Gcuwa), the alleged suspects shot at the police, who then retaliated.

Nyalara is no stranger to run-ins with the law. He has been arrested more than 20 times, with one conviction and three cases still pending before the courts.

He has been implicated in numerous murders, attempted murders, rape, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, extortion and robberies.
