2. On January 21, 2025, at approximately 2:00 PM, a buy-bust operation was conducted along Purok Conception Road, Brgy. 74-A, Matina Crossing, Davao City (7.0553308,125.5653787,3623m). The operation, which focused on a violation of R.A. 10591 in relation to the Omnibus Election Code (COMELEC Gun Ban), was initiated based on information provided by a Reliable Confidential Informant (RCI).

3. The operation was conducted by the Intelligence Operatives of Police Station 3 – Talomo, led by PLT RIZALDE B. SUAGA, under the direct supervision of PMAJ GENESIS P. ORIEL, Acting Station Commander resulted in the arrest of Ryan, male, 46 years old, born on August 19, 1978, and a resident of Sapphire Street, Doña Francisca Homes, Brgy. 74-A, Matina Crossing, Davao City. 4. Seized Items from the possession of the suspect to wit: a.) One (1) unit .38 caliber revolver without a serial number marked as LMG-A with pertinent data, b.) two (2) live ammunitions marked as LMG-A-1 & LMG-A-2 with pertinent data c.) One (1) pc genuine Php 500.00-peso bill bearing serial number: AK5039334 pre-marked with LMG and later marked as LMG-B with pertinent data (Buy bust money), d. eleven (11) pcs counterfeit Php 500.00-peso bills used as boodle money marked as LMG-C with pertinent data (Buy bust money), e.) one (1) Samsung phone with light purple rubber casing marked as LMG-D with pertinent data, f.) one (1) Brgy. ID marked as LMG-E with pertinent data and g.) one (1) black sling bag branding caterpillar marked as LMG-F with pertinent data.

5. The suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and the specific violation committed under R.A. 10591 and the Omnibus Election Code. He was subsequently brought to Police Station 3 Talomo for proper disposition. 

6. Pertinent documents are being prepared for the filing of appropriate charges against the suspect. Additionally, a memorandum request was prepared and is set to be submitted to the Chief, Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO), Civil Security Group, Camp Crame, Quezon City, for verification of whether the suspect has any registered firearm or license to possess and carry firearms.
