The body was discovered on May 11, 2025, along La Orange Trace, Aripo Village.
Around 4:45 p.m., a man hiking with his girlfriend and dog stumbled upon the body of an unidentified male of African descent, estimated to be around 30 years old.
The victim was lying on his back on the roadway in a forested area, dressed in a white vest, three-quarter jeans with the pockets turned out, dark-colored underwear, and mismatched slippers.
He had visible tattoos on both ankles and the length of his right arm. A spent 9mm shell was found near the body, indicating he may have been executed. The scene was processed by SERU officers, and the District Medical Officer (DMO) pronounced death at the location.
Further investigations revealed the victim as Adisa Marshall, 25, of Bacchus Avenue, St. Margaret’s, who had been reported missing.
His 21-year-old girlfriend reported him missing to the San Fernando CID on May 14. Marshall was last seen leaving his home, wearing a white vest, light blue three-quarter jeans, and black slippers with a light pink Jansport bag.
Officers from the St. Margaret’s Police Station and the Regin 2 Homicide Bureau of Investigations are continuing investigations into the murder.— Story by Ian Alleyne Network
