Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that learner, Lethukuthula Amanda Masango, hanged to death by her 23-year-old boyfriend in KaNyamazane.

The 17 year-old learner that was allegedly hanged by a 23 year-old in KaNyamazane in Mpumalanga has been identified as Lethukuthula Amanda Masango.

Here’s information that has been gathered by the police so far regarding the incident.

▪️According to Amandas’s family, she left home to catch a bus to school at around 6am yesterday.

▪️She disappeared from then until her mother went to the police station at around 6PM to report her missing.

▪️While the mother was at the police station, she was called by neighbours to say she must come back home, something has happened.

▪️The mother was taken to the scene where she found her daughter deceased, still in uniform and her school books were also found at the crime scene.

▪️Some community members told police that the alleged perpetrator was seen trying to sell Amanda’s phone around Kanyamazane during school hours around 2PM, at a price of 100 rand.

▪️Colonel Jabulile Ndubane who’s part of the Mpumalanga SAPS’s communications team says they are investigating the matter.

▪️Amanda was doing grade 12.
