A woman identified as Ejiro, CEO of the Instagram-based business @stylebyejiro, has been reported missing after joining a prayer group that some allege operates as a cult. Concerns for her safety have sparked widespread alarm on social media, with users calling for authorities to investigate her disappearance.
According to posts shared by @nhn_couture, Ejiro joined a prayer group led by individuals named Joy Irokwe and Aba, with other members including Elizabeth Owen-Eloho and Bishop Taiye Adekammi. The group, which reportedly goes by the name Naiboth, is accused of manipulative and coercive practices. nhn_couture claims that Ejiro was brainwashed by the group, sold her business assets, and handed over the proceeds to the group as a “seed” offering. She was allegedly isolated from her family and friends, with the group convincing her that her mother intended to harm her.
Ejiro was last seen two weeks prior to the initial report, which was posted one day ago. Her family and friends have been unable to reach her since her disappearance, and her whereabouts remain unknown. nhn_couture stated that Ejiro’s family has reported the matter to the authorities, who are now searching for the camp where the group is believed to be located.
Further details from nhn_couture reveal a pattern of concerning behavior within the group. Joy Solomon, identified as a self-proclaimed prophet, allegedly instructed members to follow strict spiritual directives, including cursing those who resisted their teachings and forbidding members from recording meetings. The group is also accused of targeting vulnerable women, with nhn_couture warning others to be cautious of similar groups claiming to offer prayer and spiritual guidance.
