The Homeless Dog Shelter and Animal Kingdom Foundation strongly condemned the incident and extended thanks to the authorities and animal welfare groups who are pushing for justice. According to the Animal Welfare Act (RA 8485), animal cruelty is punishable by death, so the call for stricter law enforcement against animal cruelty continues.
