22-year-old Isaiah Binasarie of St. John Road, Brother’s Road, Rio Claro, was found dead in his bedroom on the morning of Friday, April 18, 2025, following a heated argument with his father.
According to police reports, around 6:45 a.m., Isaiah and his father got into an argument after the young man was denied money to attend an event.
His father also refused to let him leave the house. Approximately one hour later, around 7:45 a.m., other family members left for church, leaving Isaiah home alone.
When the family returned at around 11:45 a.m., Isaiah’s sister went to check on him and made a shocking discovery.
She found him sitting lifeless in a chair in his bedroom, with what appeared to be blood coming from his mouth and a shotgun next to him. She immediately raised an alarm, and police were contacted.
Police responded and found Isaiah seated in a chair in his bedroom with his head slumped to his chest. A Remington 11-87 twelve-gauge shotgun was found leaning against the wall nearby.
The Remington twelve-gauge High Speeh shotgun belonged to Isaiah’s father, an FUL holder.
The District Medical Officer pronounced Isaiah dead at the scene amd ordered an autopsy at the Forensic Sciences Center in St. James.
Investigations are ongoing.
