Which Geopolitical Zone In Nigeria Has More States ?

The Federal Republic of Nigeria is a sovereign nation that is located in the western region of the African continent. Nigeria has developed in many areas over the past few years. It should be said that Nigeria is divided into six geopolitical zones. We have three geopolitical zones in the southern part of Nigeria while the northern region also has three geopolitical zones.

The geopolitical zones in the southern part of Nigeria include the South-South, South-West and the South-East. We also have the North-Central, North-East and North-West in the northern part of the country. Let us carefully identify the geopolitical zone that has the highest number of states in Nigeria.

1. The North-West

According to a report by The Guardian, we have seven states in the North-West geopolitical zone of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The likes of Kaduna State, Kano State, Katsina State, Kebbi State, Sokoto State, Jigawa State and Zamfara State are all located in the North-West geopolitical zone of Nigeria.
