Macaroni Reacts To Seun Kuti Arrest
Actor and activist, Adebowale Debo Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni has reacted to the arrest of Afrobeats star, Seun Kuti by the Nigeria police.
Macaroni on his Twitter page condemned the attack on the police officer who was slapped by Kuti.

He stated that security personnel in the country were now aware of how it feels to be assaulted and oppressed.
Macaroni, however, called for Seun Kuti’s rights to be respected in their quest to seek justice.
“I love how the Nigeria Police is quickly seeking justice for one of theirs who was assaulted. I hope such speed is also applied when Citizens are being harassed and brutalized by the Nigeria Police.
“While I totally condemn assault on Police officers, I also condemn any form of maltreatment against Seun Kuti.
2023 Election: Tinubu Defeated Obi—Keyamo
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has insisted that the President-elect Bola Tinubu won the just concluded February 25 presidential election.

Keyamo maintained that Tinubu defeated Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, with a margin of 2,693,193 votes.
The Minister, in a tweet on Tuesday, said that an allegation of electoral malpractice in just one State cannot upturn the entire result of the election if it did not affect the declared result.

Following moves to reconcile him and the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bode George, declared that though he bears no grudge with Tinubu, he, however, disagrees with his “methodologies of governance.”
George also said he will not congratulate the President-elect on his victory, just as he reiterated that he has nothing personal against the former Lagos governor.

NASS leadership: Akpabio asks APC to caution rebellious lawmakers
Senator Godswill Akpabio has asked the All Progressives Congress, APC, to rein in lawmakers against the anointed candidates to lead the 10th National Assembly.

Akpabio made the request on Tuesday in Abuja when he led 42 other Senators to the party chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC).
The APC zoned the Senate Presidency to Akpabio, Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin (Kano), House of Representatives Speaker Abass Tajudeen (Kaduna) and Deputy Speaker Ben Kalu (Abia).
