Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola revealed that she lost her mother 25 years ago. She didn’t know what comes after losing a mother until she grew older.

The actress took to her Instagram page where she shared a video she saw on her colleague’s page. In the video, The man said no one could replace a mother. That aunties, friends, and family members will try to comfort you by telling you that they will always be there for you but they will eventually get tired of you. The man said a mother can not get tired of her child, she is the only one that cannot get tired of you.

She said, “I lost mine over 25 years ago. At that time, the meaning didn’t hit until I grew older in life”. She further revealed that she made life decisions that ordinarily she wouldn’t have made if her mother was alive.

Wumi Toriola got emotional after seeing the video. She said she doesn’t like to hear about people who lost a loved one. She said that the grief now may be severe at first but the grief later is more severe.
