Nollywood actor, Prince Eke has recently tackled a Nigerian clergyman for berating young men who spend much time in the gym building their chest and muscles.
The actor expressed himself in a video as he wondered how one who calls himself a pastor can climb the pulpit to preach about such. He further wondered whether keeping fit has become something bad and added that people who gym and end up as bouncers earning legitimately are better off than depending on a congregation to pay their tithes and offerings as a pastor.
He said: “How can a man who calls himself a pastor climb the pulpit and be talking rubbish? So keeping fit is now devilísh? And you’re talking down on a man who earns legitimately as a bouncer, who is better than you who depends on your members to pay tithes and offering, while you ask your members to depend on God…”
