It was gathered that the incident occurred within the early hours of Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Cele Bus cease space of Lagos State.
Condemning the jungle Justice that led to the premature demise of the suspected robbers, Lagos State Police Spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin maintained that the neighborhood residents should inform the police all they know in regards to the incident.
“Jungle justice is a criminal offense in our regulation.
“People mustn’t take legal guidelines into their very own arms. When you see a criminal offense, report to the police.
“We are on the trail of those involved. The people in the community must tell us what they know concerning the incident,” Hundeyin said.
A journalist who visited the incident scene, reported that the charred our bodies of the suspects have been on Ogunlana Street, Ijesha, alongside Cele bus cease bridge at about 1.20 p.m on Wednesday.
Some individuals who recognized themselves as eyewitnesses, said that the suspects confessed to the crime, however the mob refused to spare their lives due to the frequent robberies within the space.
