During the Big Brother Naija reunion show, Amaka, one of the leveled-up housemates, revealed that Phyna assured her that she was making the right decision by choosing Groovy. She added that she told Phyna she felt betrayed after seeing her with Groovy.
She revealed that she honestly did not know if Phyna liked Groovy or not because she tried to make Groovy hers. According to him, “She reassured me that I was making the right decision. She was like, Go for him, so I felt like she had my back. And I’m like, But this babe just said this, so she was like, Oh, she did not see any traditional marriage indication or anything, and we particularly had this conversation in the bathroom area just to refresh everybody’s mind.”
“So after that, she went to get the guy, and when she sees me dishing food, she’ll be like, Put your own and Groovy’s own together. She Was keying me into the job, you understand. When Groovy was doing the task, the day we were doing fashion wigs, she was like, This is Groovy’s cloth; go and help him, and I said, I haven’t finished mine; why would I do that? So I honestly felt she had my back, only for me to see her and Groovy saying those things. That’s why I said I felt like she betrayed me. I really don’t know if Phyna liked Groovy.”
