Iniobong Edo, a Nollywood actress, “claimed that being married in the first place was her biggest life regret.”
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Ini Edo discussed her broken marriage.
According to Vanguard, “The actress admitted that after being engaged, she had second thoughts about getting married.”
Remember that, On November 29, 2008, “American-based businessman Philip Ehiagwina wed Ini Edo, but their union lasted barely five years before they got divorced in 2013.”
The actress from Nollywood admitted that, “her family pressured her into the union, insisting that she would only contemplate getting married to the right guy.”
According to her, “I regret getting married, she remarked, “because it wasn’t just the right thing to do.”
The actress welcomed a child through surrogacy in 2021, “admitting that she made that decision as a result of miscarriages.” Source stated.
Vanguard reported, “I experienced a few miscarriages, so I decided to hire a surrogate. Additionally, I simply gave up trying.”
Vanguard further gathered that, “My hubby is not here. I’m like, whether or not I have a husband, I want a kid for me. What other choices do I have, then? I wanted it to be my child as well. I’m eggs. Thank goodness, my eggs are fresh. This is what I did.”
