According to CNA the radio sign was misplaced through the storm that hit the capital metropolis late in the afternoon.
The plane was chartered by a non-public agency, the Cameroon Oil Transportation Company (COTCO). The firm maintains a hydrocarbon pipeline that runs between Cameroon and Chad. The ill-fated plane was flying from (*11*)-Nsimalen airport to Belabo, in the east of Cameroon.
Air and floor search groups have been placed on obligation.
Local media, Cameroon24, reported that the accident left no survivors; nonetheless, there was no official affirmation from authorities.
It is the primary main air disaster reported in Cameroon since 2007, when a Kenya Airways plane transporting 114 folks crashed after take-off from Douala Airport. There have been no survivors in that accident.
