Controversial Nigerian singer and musician, Seun Kuti has finally breaks his silence on the trending video of him physically assaulting a policeman.
It can be recalled that the son of late legendary singer, Fela Kuti is currently making headlines after a video of him physically assaulting a Nigerian police officer made rounds online.
In the video making rounds online, Seun was spotted confronting the policeman at Third Mainland Bridge.
This action, had however, sparked mixed reactions online from Nigerians with many of them rebuking the singer for taking such drastic action.
Finally addressing the trending video of him physically assaulting a policeman, Seun took to his official Instagram story channel to claim that the policeman wanted to kill him and his family.
Speaking further, the singer went ahead to reveal that he has proof to back up his claims, but he is not the type that chases clout.
Not stopping there, Seun continued by adding that adding that the policeman has apologized to him and he has agreed not to press charges.
Sharing the post online, the singer wrote;
“He tried to kill me and my family. I have the proof but I no dey chase clout. He has apologized and I have agreed not to press charges. Make una mind una business make the poor guy no lose his job.”
