Flavour, a prominent figure in Nigerian highlife music, has sent a message to his fellow countrymen outlining current events and what they might expect.
On September 7, he used his Twitter account to inform Nigerians that, contrary to what they may have been told, no one is coming to save them.
The “Ada Ada” singer deleted the mysterious tweet after the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal rejected the opposition parties, the PDP, LP, and APM, who had contested the president’s election. Flavour stated that, in the end, individuals must prepare themselves for any possibility in terms of contemporary reality.
Â
He tweeted,
“At the end of the day, no one will be coming to save you. Every one of us must be ready for everything”.
