Few moments ago, Popular Nollywood Actress, Content Creator and Brand Influencer, Bimbo Ademoye took to social media to dish out a lovely video of the moment she gifted her AMVCA Award to her father. Recall that yesterday night, the 9th edition of the AMVCA Awards was held and Bimbo was one of the biggest winners of the night as she took home the “Best Actress In a Comedy” Category.
The talented actress shared the video on her Official Instagram Page today being Sunday the 21st day of May, 2023 and she accompanied it with a caption which read: “Went back home to give the award to my dad. My biggest supporter, my rock, my back bone, my father. Met his absence but I knew exactly where he would be (he loves chilling with the boys in the hood when he’s less busy on Sunday). My dad took me to my first audition and waited for 6 hours till I was done”.
“My hood produced all the characters that has made you guys laugh. I’ve had to mimic someone from the hood to give those characters life”, Bimbo wrote and it stirred massive reactions from fans, viewers and followers with many taking to the comment section to react. The above video captured the moment when Bimbo Ademoye went all the way to his family house to give her father the AMVCA Award but she met his absence at home and she had to drive to the hood to look for her father. Bimbo’s dad was so excited judging from the smile he wore on his face when she gave the award to him and it’s absolutely amazing.
