Alum Victoria Adeyele of Big Brother Nigeria, also known as Vee, has arrested a plumber for defrauding her of 150,000 Naira for a task that was supposed to cost her 20,000 Naira.
Everything began when the reality star posted a series of messages on Twitter detailing her hectic experience with the plumber.
“My plumber scammed me and collected 150k for a 20k job, and one IDIOT is telling me it’s because “everyone is hungry,” she wrote in her first angry tweet, adding that she would arrest him. He will eat in jail.”
Vee urged everyone to start holding people accountable for their behavior in a series of subsequent tweets in which she vented her rage at the circumstances and others who supported him.
She said, “I don’t even mind that people are making excuses or laughing, btw, because this kind of wickedness will surely touch everyone if we don’t start holding badly behaved people responsible.”
She continued by narrating how the plumber allegedly tricked her by taking advantage of her ignorance of the situation.
The reality television personality brought him over after realizing she had been duped, and he locked her tap once more. She tweeted, “Can you believe he cut off my water again, but THIS time he used a screwdriver to lock my water entirely? When I saw what he was doing, I told him to come to my house this morning. He will rest in prison.
She tweeted once more on July 13, 2023, this time including a picture of the plumber being detained and in handcuffs. Play stupid games to get stupid prizes, she captioned the picture. And THIS is your future, those of you who were finding reasons to justify this plumber.
