Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa today in a function attended by President William Ruto blasted MP Peter Salasya for his disrespectful utterances. Barasa who is a UDA MP pleaded for forgiveness on behalf of Peter Salasya for speaking disrespectfully in front of the President.
Barasa stated that the function was a national one and that it should be treated as such. He went ahead and asserted that Salasya is a friend to Wajackoyah and that the Church leaders and the President should understand him from that perspective.
He further reminded Salasya to be calm and use his brain in a function that the President is in attendance.
“I want to ask for forgiveness on behalf of all these MPs. This is a national function. I have seen my brother Peter Salasya making noise here and I would like you to forgive him because he is a friend to Wajackoyah and you all know what they normally consume, so forgive him and do not create any problems with him,” said Kimilili MP, Didmus Barasa.
“In a function of a President like this, as a leader, you should be calm and use your brains and not your voice,” he added.
