Will He Break The Orders? Raila In Tight Spot As Ruto’s Gvnt Put Strong Measures Ahead Of Wed Demos

All eyes are closing in on Raila Amolo Odinga next week as the government changes its tune on Maandamano.

 According to the source, Kindiki has given Raila Odinga permission to hold demonstrations on the above days, specifically from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., subject to the need that they be peaceful and conducted in a way that won’t disrupt innocent Kenyans in their daily activities.

“While the government has not banned public rallies and gatherings, the Law clearly allows such rallies to be held between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.,” CS Kindiki stated.

This occurs as President Ruto has summoned a crisis conference for tomorrow and Tuesday where Azimio ambassadors who are slated to negotiate on averting the planned demonstrations will participate. Raila’s planned demonstrations are anticipated to resume this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

All eyes are now focused on Raila Odinga to see if he will end his protests or keep applying pressure to President Ruto to reduce living expenses.
