The Azimio One Kenya Alliance Coalition team led by the former Prime Minister Hon Raila Amollo Odinga and the former head of state Hon Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta were joined by other key leaders in Karen, Nairobi County for requiem mass following the deaths that resulted due to police brutality.
During the event, the former Prime Minister Hon Raila Amollo Odinga was spotted offering short prayers after he laid out the flowers and lighting a candle to show his empathy to the families and friends who lost their loved ones during the Azimio One Kenya Alliance Coalition Protests.
This came just moments after the former President Hon Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta laid his flowers and lit up the candle.The former Prime Minister Hon Raila Amollo Odinga has been pushing for several reforms from the Kenya Kwanza coalition government and has maintained that they are ready to call for mass action incase the President Hon William Samoei Ruto don’t consider their demands.
The President Hon William Samoei Ruto and his deputy Hon Rigathi Gachagua have maintained that they won’t accept the handshake narratives because it will destroy their plans. This is a great dilemma to the Kenya Kwanza coalition government.
