Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has moved President Ruto into tears after recalling how Uhuru Kenyatta used the Sagana State Lodge to threaten his fame and popularity in Mt Kenya.
Speaking in Murang’a after commissioning a water project, the second in command admitted that Uhuru used to call forums at Sagana whose aim was to rally Mt Kenya residents behind Raila but they failed to buy his cheap politics. He claimed that all his eyes were intimidated, threatened of being taken to courts for petty reason as they were requested to support Raila but they stood firm rooted in Ruto.
“Rais wetu tunataka kukukaribisha wewe hapa Mt Kenya, ulianzia Githurai, ukafika sasa uko hapa Murang’a, tunaelekea Kirinyaga halafu tumupeleke mpaka ikulu kule State Lodge Sagana na utalala hapa siku tano. Hiyo ikulu ndio mambo yote mabaya ju yako yalikuwa yanapangwa, hapo walipanga kuhangaisha, walipanga vitina, uchochezi na mambo yote mabaya Leo utalal hapo nahapo ndio kwako,” Dp Gachagua said as the crowd cheered.
Gachagua then welcomed him to Mt Kenya as he claimed that he will have a chance to sleep in Sagana for five days despite the same venue last year being used to plan all evils against Ruto’s presidency.
