A section of UDA Leaders In Kisumu County have called for party elections so that the leadership of the party is clear especially in Nyanza region. The Kisumu County coordinator Ouko Kirindo is clear that, the wraggles in the UDA party are as result of lack of elected leadership in key areas of Nyanza.
The UDA party is expected to register new members as well conduct elections so that the country can move forward. Leaders in Kisumu are clear that, the president must unite all leaders in Kisumu if they must achieve success.

Whether UDA party will conduct elections in Kisumu and succeed given the area is a political bedroom of Raila Odinga, let’s wait and see. The fact of the matter is that, UDA will have to work hard to have an effective leadership in Kisumu County.
President Ruto has continued to ensure that the UDA party has support across the globe including in Nyanza region. However, Kenyans are waiting to see of how UDA party will fair in the the 2027 General Elections given the ongoing preparations.
