Pauline Njoroge has disclosed that Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi was on the receiving end of the government’s wrath during the Sagana meeting that was held in Nyeri County. She alleged that Wamatangi was lectured in the meeting after he refused to hand over Delmonte land and another land in Thika to ‘people of interest’
“Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi was lectured like a child in Sagana for refusing to release Delmonte land and another piece of land in Thika,” Pauline Njoroge said.
She went ahead and asserted that the Governor today publicly announced that he would not hand over the land to some people in the national government saying that the land should only benefit the Kiambu people.
She further alleged that President Ruto and his confidants have declared that they will finish Wamatangi politically after he refused to hand over the Kiambu-based lands.
“Today he has gone public with his position. He says he will not just hand over land belonging to Kiambu county to some people at the national government when there is no clear plan of how the people of Kiambu will benefit from this,” said Pauline Njoroge.
“On the other hand, Ruto and his people have vowed to finish Wamatangi if he does not release these pieces of the land to them,” she stated.
Pauline Njoroge further stated that Murang’a County Governor Mr. Irungu Kang’ata is in the same position as Kiambu County Governor Kimani Wamatangi.
“Meanwhile, Irungu Kang’ata in Murang’a is also in the same tight spot,” she added.
