A clergy has condemned the Members of Parliament for punishing Kenyans by voting for the Finance Bill 2023. He equated the MPs with a snake and devil who go against the will of the masses.
He asserted that politicians are only good when they want votes from the masses. However, he says that the moment politicians get into office, they forget about the representation of the electorate.
“The other day you saw what the MPs we voted for did in parliament. Politicians only appear good to us when they come to campaign but when they go to the parliament they become like a snake,”
He urged Kenyans to draw their attention from the politicians who have betrayed them and focus on agriculture. He urged his residents to plant maize and sorghum to feed themselves.
“Let us just know how we can live, let us practise agriculture and plant maize and sorghum, leave these politicians alone, they are cursed,”
The clergy accused the politicians of putting their interests in front at the expense of Kenyan interests. He said that they are after their stomachs.
He added that the Finance Bill will subject Kenyans to suffering starting July 2023. He said that the politician should not blind us by discussing a Bill that has already passed.
“Kenyans are going to suffer badly. You have not experienced any hardship, wait from July. The politicians do consider the needs of Kenyans, they are after their stomachs. There is nothing to discuss now, the Finance Bill has already passed,”
