Senior leaders im government have started arriving in Eldoret ahead of this year’s Devolution Conference.
According to news coming in as at 9:00am on Tuesday morning, an aeroplane carrying several Governors, Senators and Members of Parliament has just landed at Eldoret International Airport.
The leaders were warmly welcomed with dances and songs on their arrival. The actual event is set be held at Eldoret Sports Club, Uasin Gishu county as from Tomorrow, Wednesday 16th.
The Head of State, His Excellency William Ruto will be the one to officially open the event that’s expected to be attended by other high-powered leaders in the country.
Details have also revealed that security has been beefed at the venue. Tens of police officers can be spotted making their final preparations ahead of the event.
About ten thousand Kenyans are expected to attend the event that has since been speculated might elicit a massive showdown due to the presence of political bigwigs from government and the opposition side.
