“Toka Hapa Hatukutaki” UDA MP Badly Humiliated While Gachagua Was Watching

Uasin Gishu County senator Jackson Mandago on Friday had the worst public experience in Eldoret town where he joined deputy president Rigathi Gachagua for a rally. The rally which was meant to a be a peaceful event addressed by the second in command turned out to be a slaughter house for Mandago who was badly insulted by the hostile crowd.

The incident became so violent that senator Mandago had to run for his life and hide in his car after the crowd started to haul objects at him to show their anger. The weight of the incident was evident as his driver’s waved through the enraged crowd to protect him and see that he gets to the car fast. The crowd was mad because Mandago is one of the main suspects in the Finland Scholarship scandal.

The senator’s efforts to calm down the crowd were futile as they made them even more angry. Even as his car made its way out of the town people followed him closely with chants of “go away we don’t want you” filling the air. This is a sign that the accusations made against the senator have a long effect on his relationship with his people and it will take time before he regains their trust.
