'This is Madness' Njoroge Blasts Langata MP Jalang'o For Paying Fare to Passengers

Political blogger and digital strategist Pauline Njoroge has lashed at Langata member of parliament Felix Oduor popularly known as Jalang’o after he was seen in a video walking by the roadside and various matatu stages in his constituency and paying fare to his constituents destined for Nairobi CBD.

Jalang’o is among the rebel Azimio MPs who shifted political allegiance and opted to work with president Ruto.During the voting of the finance bill, he supported the bill and voted for it to pass through.

In her observation of the video going rounds on social media where the MP was seen paying fare for his constituents, Njoroge has stated Jalang’o is among those who supported the finance bill which is now affecting Kenyans and has contributed to the high cost of living.

She has questioned how the MP will be able to sustain this kind of philanthropy to his constituents by paying their fare everyday.

“You go to parliament and vote for fuel price to be increased to Ksh 195.53, therefore affecting fare price. Afterwards you go hopping from one matatu stage to another, paying fare for people. How long will you sustain this and in the entire Lang’ata constituency, how many people can you cater for every day?This is madness,” Njoroge stated.
