Today in the afternoon, a political tension was reported in Ukambani region. This came in after Azimio governor and Kenya Kwanza member of parliament clashed during a burial ceremony.
As reported by one source, this happened during the burial of the Mumbuni North MCA hon Kavuu at Mungala secondary school. This fight involved hon Wavinya Ndeti and the MP for Machakos township hon Caleb Mule.
It all started after hon Mule claimed that Ndeti’s administration is very biased. Mule who was elected on MCC party said that hon Ndeti is very biased as she gives tenders to outsiders. These remarks never pleased hon Ndeti who quickly responded by asking hon Mule what they are fighting for. She told him that Machakos county government is not biased as he claims. She went ahead to tell him to go to her office to seek clarification on any issue.
“It all started when Machakos Town MP Caleb Mule publicly maintained that Ndeti’s administration was biased. Mule claimed that the governor had given tenders including those of constructing toilets to certain tribes, ‘outsiders’. The governor said her office doors were open and she was ready to work with all leaders from the region.” Says the report.
