Mt Kenya Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru has stated and I quote, “10 yrs of President Kibaki and 10 yrs for President Uhuru parents in Mt. KENYA never conducted HARAMBEE to raise UNIVERSITY fees…Sasa mambo IMECHEMKA just 1 yr for NABII RUTO and every VILLAGE is conducting more than FIVE HARAMBEE every weekend to raise university fees.”
ODM Party communication director Philip Etale has alleged that, “Kiambu Gvn @KWamatangi seems to have run out of favor with the powers that be in his party after he refused to hand over a large parcel of land in Thika formerly occupied by Delmonte Company. His adamance not to let the land go has made him become the enemy of his former friends.”
