Politics in our country is something that can never miss in our daily newspapers. Today Taifa Leo Headline is talking about Martha Karua who is one of the top Principal in the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance.
Martha Karua was the running mate for Raila Amollo Odinga in the August 9 2022 elections last year. Sadly, Odinga lost to William Samoei Ruto of Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Azimio leader led countrywide ant-government protests claiming that Ruto’s government was unable to deal with the high cost of living among many other things.
Later, President William Samoei Ruto and Raila Odinga met and agreed to form a National Dialogue Committee to discuss the problems raised by both sides.
Odinga chose Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka to lead the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance talks. He left out his running mate Martha Karua. It was not clear why Odinga decided to go for Kalonzo Musyoka.
There are suggestions that the government might make an office for official opposition leader and his Deputy. The big question is who will be his(Raila) deputy?
Today, Taifa Leo has claimed that Martha Karua will be left in the darkness if that office will be made because Kalonzo Musyoka was the one actively involved in those talks meaning he must the deputy.
