Speaker Justin Muturi has gone after the opposition leader Raila Odinga, portraying him as a selfish person and saying that he is secretly concealing from other Azimio leaders, asking for shares in the government without their consent.
In a statement Muturi made, he said that the opposition leader has been sending leaders from varied coalitions to go and ask for his shares in the current regime, adding that he stresses meeting Ruto directly because he may ask him where his fellows are.
“Stop being selfish. Why can’t you go and ask for shares with your team instead of hiding from them and then using other leaders from different coalitions to ask for your shares in the government?” Muturi said.
He said that Raila’s principle of concealment from his team with an am to earn shares from the government will not give him a victory, as he sent a message to other leaders in the Azimio coalition telling them that Raila is not fighting for them but for his own interests.
“Raila is after looking for self-benefit and doesn’t look out about other leaders in Azimio because he is asking for shares in the government and they don’t know, and he will not get any victory,” he added.
