Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda has reacted to his expulsion from Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party over his interaction with President Ruto.
According to the report, the lawmaker who has been seen unapologetic has admitted that he has no apology to make as he insisted that he will continue working with President Ruto and his government despite the intimidations from his ODM party.
“My party has today expelled me for working with President William Ruto. I have no apology and will continue to work with the President,” Tom Ojienda said.
This comes after ODM disciplinary committee expelled a number of allied political leaders from the party following their close relationship with the President. Among the affected leaders include Phelix Odiwuor Jalang’o, Mark Nyamita, Elisha Odhiambo, Esther Passaris among others who had visited Ruto at State House few months ago.
Raila Odinga was very vocal that he will not allow political leaders from his party to close lines to the government side as he promised to deal with them legally.
